VV LEFT OUT IN THE COLD

 A CLUBLESS VV

kickoff.com

Vladimir Vermozovic has indeed being given the matching orders by kaizer chiefs. All eyes are now on Ace khuse who was appointed as caretaker coach at kaizer chiefs untill the end of the season, like Augusto Palacios of Orlando pirates Khuse will head the team till the end of the season. my main concern though is whether this is the right time to bring in a caretaker coach to lead the team
  • firstly the team is under a lot of preasure in the league as they are fourth on the PSL log
  • secondly will Khuse be able to handle such preasure, because apart from the league there is also the nedbank cup to worry about.
  • thirthly I feel that bringing a caretaker coach at this this stage of the league will see kaizer chiefs loose out on both tthe league and the nedbank cup
Replacing VV with a caretaker coach at this stage of the league is not a good idea, chiefs should have let VV finish off the season as it is almost over or got a coach with expirience in the coaching field. As far as the league is concerned, kaizer chiefs are digging their own grave.

Another aspect that comes to mind is the fact that two of the most biggest teams in south african football history(kaizer chiefs and orlando pirates) are being monitored by caretaker coaches, what does that say about south african football. Veteran coach Ted Dimitru went on kick off live and expressed his views on the situation saying that this whole caretaker coaches issue is ubnormal and its not good for the countrykickoff.com.

VETERAN COACH TED DIMITRU SPEAKS HIS MIND

kicoff.com
"It is bad for our top clubs to be coached by people who know they will most definitely be replaced at the end of the season. This just shows how much inferiority is attached to coaching in South Africa and exposes the management of the clubs when it comes to coaching''. I agree with Dimitru's views, to me this situation brings the following conclusions;
  • This kind of situation confuses the fans
  •   I don't expect to see miracles with the coming in of caretaker coaches
  • This kind of habit of having caretaker coaches will lead to the rest of the world not taking us seriously because this is not expected of the two main teams in the country.
PSL teams should start taking coaching seriously because the whole caretaker coach issue is a step in the wrong direction.

  1. the management have done a great job, how can you lead a big club when you have beef with your senior players, atleast they finally realise that he is no longer good for the club, its better for him to pack his bags, we were going nowhere.

  2. What is the difference between a caretaker coach and a coach?.Wouldnt the caretater be doing more or less the same job as a coach?.Or does it lack solidarity maybe?.

  3. I can't blame the decision that is taken by the management because they (mangement)were under a big pressure from their supporters. As you're saying this is not a good idea-i agree with you,Khuse cant hande the situation at this time, he has to deal with the league and with the nedbank cup. the season is about to end they supposed to leave VV to end this season.

    1. mtho management does not have to listen to fans all the time, their main focus should be on whats best for the team and like you say that letting VV go was a bad move on chiefs part.

  4. The decision is not good at all chiefs are in the process of wining the Nedbank cup and PSL, changing a coach meaning the system, which be good or bad, do you think ACE KHUSE will rejuvenent the team

  6. I agree with you that they should have let VV to finish off this season.According to me i think that ACE is not capable enough to handle the pressure that VV has been through. This is also confusing us fans because we are not able to predict the changes that ACE will bring to the team.

    1. marvee it does confuse us as fans a lot, because to me as a fan management comes across as people who do not know what to do and panic under preasure which is not good for the team

  7. Well for VV good steps have taken but they did late, that should have been done ages ago. For both teams kaizer chiefs and orlando pirates being monitored by caretaker coaches is not important as such because the league is almost over, what they can do is to prepare for the next season.

  8. letting VV leave was da worst decision taken by da team as da league is at a vital stage & da Nedbank cup proved it jst well as chiefs crashed out of the tournament due to lack of techticality

    1. it was a bad move indeed MLU and the lack of techticality part goes back to promoting a caretaker coach that doesnt have any experience in coaching even his assistants have never taken on such huge responsibility that being doctor khumalo and arthur Zwane, to me our technical side is filled with people who do not know what they are doing.

  9. chiefs management shouldn't have sacked vladmir,vv knew what's best for the club, ace khuse doesn't,that is why the club has been eliminated off the NEDBANK CUP competition lately. When ace took over i thought he'll enhance the chances for the club to win the league, but huh i was sadly mistaken, the club is actually sinking.

  10. Ace Khuse should be given a chance to prove himself. Things might end up well for the team. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

    1. Cresentia the key element in coaching is experience and khuse has no experience in coaching, giving him a chance will be kicking to the groung kaizer chiefs while its strugling

  11. Mxo as bad as he was for the team atleast he could produce a win once in a while look at the results of their match this past weekend,to me khuse seemed nervous and didnt know what to do. It looked like doctor khumalo was the coach and he was just part of management.

  12. motso they perform the same responsibilities the only difference is that a caretaker coach is merely a stand in who will be replaced at the end of a season and a coach is more on a permanent basis

  13. Trot Khuse willl most definetley not bring any changes to the team, his precence will be just another set back for the team.@Thembanator it does matter matter that the two football giants are monitored by caretaker coaches because both the teams are at crucial stages in the league and bringing caretaker coaches is them saying that they want to loose the league.

  14. Till today i ask myself why the problem lies with the coach, it takes more than one person to win games. Kaizer Chiefs should ask themselves if all parties involved really want to be part of a team that wins. Firing coaches does not help if the players do not give their 100% performance. if players are going to fake injuries just because they don't like the coach then it is not the coache's fault that they are losing games. All parties should act professional

    1. I agree with you on that one but to us fans we expect the coach to lead the team into victory, if the coach does not act as a leader towards the players then the players will not respect him hence kaizer chiefs players where acting in an improper manner around VV
